My sincere thanks to the parents, students, teachers, schools, advocates and most importantly to all of the person with dyslexia, dyslexic individuals who have worked tirelessly to improve understanding of dyslexia and related learning disabilities.

This legislation will help more children learn to reading and spelling be successful students because when children with dyslexia and learning disabilities are clearly defined, educational interventions can be tailored to meet their needs.

Thanks to all of you who advocated for this bill and who contacted the Governor in support of the bill. You can see my interview, along with Marcus Soutra, on Wednesday night at 8pm on “CapitalTonight” with Liz Benjamin.
